INFLUENCE OF TIME (BG 8.23-28) | HG GAURMANDAL DAS

According to the Vedas, there are two ways of passing from this world—one in light and one in darkness. When one passes in light, he does not come back; but when one passes in darkness, he returns ( Bhagavad Gita 8.26 )
Time influences not just our ageing but even our desires, results, happiness, distress and even the destination after death.

JOURNEY TO OTHER PLANETS (BG 8.10-14) | HG GAURMANDAL DAS

Journey to other planets is not possible by any mechanical means. Even if one is somehow able to reach, one won't be able to stay there. However, the desire to travel and stay there can be fulfilled by the process of yoga, which serves as a means by which one can be transferred to whatever planet one likes - possibly to planets where life is not only eternal and blissful, but where there are multiple varieties of enjoyable energies.
One can attain this stage of perfection very easily by one's individual effort. One can simply follow, in one's own home, the prescribed method of bhakti-yoga. This method, under proper guidance, is simple and enjoyable.

ART OF DYING (BG 8.07-09) | HG GAURMANDAL DAS

Just like a child absorbed in sporting, who forgets to prepare for the reality he has to face at the year end i.e. exams, is creating a miserable future, a civilization forgetful of death is risking itself for a dark future. But for one who knows, he's happy now and hereafter.

When light passes from one medium to another, it follows a law. When humans enter another nation, they also have to abide by certain laws. Likewise, when the soul passes from one body to the next it follows a law, which determines one's next body.
